Designed by Gio Ponti in 1965 to be a “modern, comfortable, extremely strong armchair” which was also “light-weight, adaptable and easy to take down to be shipped anywhere” the Dezza collection is now reproposed in a refined edition that enhances its formal beauty and stylistic uniqueness.
The series, which ows its name to the address of Ponti’s legendary studio in Milan, is characterized by the sharp cut of the slender arms, that represent its distinctive trait, and the simplicity of its construction, which leaves the fasteners exposed on the sides. This simplicity makes Dezza eminently suitable for contemporary household environments, and just perfect for use in public and collective premises, such as office buildings and hotels.
Incredibly elegant and sophisticated is this recently re-issued collection entitled Dezza from Gio Ponti. Frau Leathers are celebrated the world over. Frau is the supplier to the likes of Ferrari and Maserati.
