Product description

Brand:  Zanotta, Italy www.zanotta.it Designer:  Gabriele Mucchi Design Connected ID: 3067

Gabriele Mucchi designed the Genni Lounge Chair and ottoman in 1935 for the modernist seeking individuality.
The sleekly fluid chair relays Mucchi's rationalist engineering sensibilities with an impeccable dual adjustment for reclining. How many designers do you know who have been designing for nearly 100 years?
A renaissance man of sorts, designer Gabriele Mucchi was both an engineer and a painter during the first half of the twentieth century. He designed the Genni Lounge chair in 1935, and later contributed to the founding of painting’s realist movement and of rationalist architecture. Zanotta has reissued this collectible design with superb construction and quality materials. The chair can be adjusted to 2 positions for versatility and comfort and holds a permanent place in Ravenna’s Museum of Modern Art
Lounge chair. Chromium-plated steel frame. Steel springs. Adjustable seat in two positions. Polyurethane upholstery. Leather cover.

Year of design: 1935
